1. Overview

To the Moon English provides online English classes to adult learners via video conferencing. By purchasing credits or subscribing to a plan, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

2. Classes and Credits

Classes are delivered via Zoom or Google Meet at times booked through Acuity Scheduling. Single-class credits are valid for 30 days from purchase. If unused within this period, the credit will expire and no refund or extension will be issued.

3. Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions provide a set number of class credits per calendar month, billed monthly via Stripe. Credits do not roll over to the following month. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued.

4. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed via Stripe in British Pounds (GBP). All sales are final. No refunds will be issued once credits have been purchased. If a class is cancelled by the tutor, a replacement class or credit will be offered at no cost.

5. Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Cancellations

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to reschedule or cancel a class. With sufficient notice, your credit will be returned for rebooking. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, will result in the class credit being forfeited with no refund, replacement, or extension.

6. Tutor Cancellations

If the tutor cancels, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered a replacement class. If a replacement cannot be arranged, a credit will be issued.

7. Technical Requirements

You are responsible for a stable internet connection, working microphone and camera, and the necessary software. Technical difficulties on your end do not entitle you to a refund, though reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate disruptions.

8. Code of Conduct

Respectful and professional behaviour is expected. To the Moon English reserves the right to terminate the tutoring relationship without refund in the event of abusive or inappropriate behaviour.

9. Intellectual Property

All lesson materials remain the property of To the Moon English and may be used for personal study only. Reproduction or distribution without consent is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

No guarantee is made regarding specific learning outcomes. Liability is limited to the value of credits purchased. To the Moon English is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
